A little table decoration

        

My decorations from last weekend with dried rosebuds from Greece  

on funkia leafs from my garden, with my little crown of concrete I bought this summer on one of our trips on the motorbike

along the roads in the countryside you can find many sweet little shops with all kind of interior stuff, flowers and clothes

I like that kind of shops

The last ride this year?

    

       

The weather today was surprisingly nice,  

so we went for a ride on the motorbike, probable the last ride of the year  

we stopped at the café Röda Stugan for a coffee
a little red house by the wather nerby where we live

Saturday night with the girls

                     

 

I had some girlfriends to dinner last saturday

and when I have friends over I am more interested in setting the table then cooking;)

I think it´s more fun

this time it was with laces and flowers

romantic glasses 

 old silverware from my grandmother

and some of the old dishes that I have been finding here an there in Sweden

no two dishes alike 

I made these boxes with paper and filled them with flowers

I put a wet oasis in a plastic bag, decorated with these wonderful flowers and moss

and put one in every dish

At the end of the evening and it was time to go 

I put the boxes in a paper bag 

and every guest got one

Affordable Art

 

The other weekend we went to Magasin 9 where they had the

Affordable Art fair for the second year

It was very interesting 

and a lot of talent on the walls:)

From apple tree to table

Last summer we took down a apple tree that was standing in the middle of the garden 

 in ten years we had got four apples and they warn't even good those four 

the grass was no good around it and we had to much shadow in the garden

sometimes it was thought nice with a picnic laying under it in the shade   

But we decided to take it away and we left a bit of the bole to make a table

Leo made a circle of stones around the bole

then he made a table top and we got a smith to make an iron ring around it for us

Then we started the never ending story with many many many 

pieces of tiles to make a mosaics surface

And the work went on and on and on:)

and on and on......

But the moment came

when the work was done

we are very proud of our new table 

looking forward for many dinners with friends 

breakfast with the lowed ones

 a lunch with the family
